I thought I might had had my HDMI port corrupted or something, but a chance of two ports being corrupted is, I suspect, lower.
apart from one small problem, Windows doesn't detect the quite crucial HDMI cable, I tried the HDMI port and mini display port with an adapter (mini display -> HDMI). So I've recently bought a Huion tablet, and it works perfectly.
